Bear with; this is one of these stream of consciousness things triggered by something I noticed in Second Life, but which I suppose applies to a lot of the SW fandom. Hope it's coherent!

The Good "News"

One thing I notice in the Star Wars fandom is a tendency for the Jedi-bent areas to teach the same sayings, the same ethos, the same creeds... the same *way*, for lack of a better term....

Halloween will be just about over for me in just under an hour, but where some of you guys are, it's still Halloween. ^_^

I personally had a lot of fun, today. It seemed, somehow, more magical this year. We didn't get any guisers (even though I had arranged the candies in a bowl so that they were in layers according to type, and then topped with a pattern of satsumas), but... I think, that didn't detract from it, for me.

Im not sure it people still post on these forums or not but I was searching through the internet last night and found some people still use some of the teaching I wrote many years ago. The two big ones being "The motion of emotion" and "understanding the force".

I was a orginal member of JotNM (Jedi of the New Millenium
). I was its second operator after Jeac Luc Walker aka Brakiss.

My main reason here is to just really say hi and to see...

So is it pretty much the same?

For those who remember me (Fiona, Griffin perhaps, maybe JilQun and Deean) has this board changed in how you do the role playing (using Force sensitive avatar characters in that galaxy for more personal growth than an RPG), for those who don't I was here til sometime in 2004, and hell I have missed this place...

Anyway, it looks like it's gone from having a setting in an Academy to between the trilogies and aboard a cruiser filled with surviving Jedi? Can I be safe in assuming...

I was out with a couple of friends of mine, today. While I was buying a new pocket bible for my university courses (so I'm not having to lug around a larger, heavy NRSV -- our tutors for Biblical Studies ask us to bring our own bibles), one of my friends, Sanj, asked me what religion I was. He'd always assumed, for some reason, that I was Catholic. My response to his question was, "it depends on what you believe".
